"Out! Get out! Hurry!" Screaming and shouting were heard everywhere as the building burned, supports on the ceiling crashing down and smashing anyone in their way. It was hectic, getting all the elves out of the tavern. I look around, scrutinizing every face in a flash before find one that's familiar. "Elwendyl!" I shouted. "Over here!"
She turned to my voice, and I shouted a warning to her, but she was too late. A beam fell down, and blocked the way. I shoved through the crowd, elbowing anyone who got in the way.
